How HTX Peptide handles information about you. Last updated October 21, 2026.

The short version

  • Your assessment answers, calculator inputs and protocol PDF are worked out in your browser. They are not sent to us.
  • What you write in the contact form, and the email address you enter to download a protocol, are sent to us and stored on our servers.
  • Optional analytics (Google Analytics and our own Talos Listen visit statistics) stay off unless you choose “Accept analytics”, and never run on the assessment, calculator, account, store or checkout pages.
  • If you buy from the store, Stripe handles your payment. We never see your full card number.
  • We don’t sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Who we are

HTX Peptide (“we”, “us”) runs htxpeptide.com, an educational reference about research peptides. Questions about this policy or your information go to info@htxpeptide.com.

Information that stays in your browser

The goal assessment and the dose calculator run entirely on your device. Your answers, medical history entries, medications and calculator values are not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and the protocol PDF is generated in your browser.

A few small things are saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers them: that you confirmed you are 18 or older, your analytics choice, and, if you enter one to download a protocol, your email address (so you aren’t asked again). Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of these. The protocol email address is also sent to us; see “Protocol download email” below.

Information you give us

Store purchases. Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment card, name, email, billing address and shipping address. We receive your email, what you bought, the amount and the shipping details needed to fulfil the order. Stripe’s own privacy policy covers how it handles payment data.

Accounts. The sign-in page is used to manage the store. If you create an account, we store your email address and a securely hashed password with our hosting provider’s authentication service.

Contact form. When you send a message through the contact page, we receive your name, email address, organization (if you give one), the reason you chose and your message. It is stored in our website database and emailed to info@htxpeptide.com through Resend, our email delivery provider. We use it only to read and answer your message.

Protocol download email. To download a protocol PDF from the assessment you enter your email address and agree to receive occasional peptide guidance and offers from us. We store that email address, the date and your consent in our website database. We receive only the address, never your assessment answers. To unsubscribe or have it deleted, email info@htxpeptide.com.

Emails. If you write to info@htxpeptide.com or sales@htxpeptide.com, or send a message through the contact form, we keep the message and your address to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.

Optional analytics (only if you accept)

On your first visit a banner asks whether to allow analytics. Nothing below runs until you choose “Accept analytics”, and you can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of every page. Analytics never runs on the assessment, calculator, sign-in, account, admin, store, cart or checkout pages, and it stays off if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

Google Analytics. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to count visits to public pages: the page address (without any parameters), approximate location, device and browser type. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off.

Talos Listen. Talos Listen is a visitor analytics tool run for us by Talos Automation, LLC on its own servers. On public pages it records the pages you view, time spent on them, the referring site, your screen width, clicks on links and buttons, how far you scroll, and where on the page you click and move your mouse (positions only, never page content), under a random ID stored in your browser (local storage, not a cookie). It looks up which organization owns the network your IP address belongs to (for example an internet provider) using public internet-registry data; it does not identify you personally and never reads what you type into forms. Page events are kept for 90 days and visitor summaries for up to 12 months. You can also turn it off in any browser by opening any page with ?tl_optout=1 added to the address.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser type and the pages requested in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them, which lets Google see your IP address.

How we use information

To run and secure the site, process and ship orders, answer messages, send the occasional guidance and offers you agreed to when downloading a protocol, and understand which public pages are useful so we can improve them. We don’t collect health information on our servers, we don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run the site for us: our website host and its database and sign-in service, Stripe for payments, Resend (delivers contact-form messages to our inbox), Google (fonts, and Analytics if you accept), and Talos Automation, LLC (Talos Listen, if you accept). Each may use the information only to provide its service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for fulfilment, accounting and tax obligations. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete the account. Emails and contact-form messages are kept as long as needed to deal with your request. Protocol download email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics retention is described above.

Your choices and rights

You can refuse or withdraw analytics consent with “Cookie settings”, and clear the data saved in your browser at any time. Depending on where you live (for example Texas or California), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to get a copy, or to have it deleted. Email info@htxpeptide.com and we will respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, you can ask us to reconsider by replying to that email.

Children

This site is for adults 18 and older. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, payments go through Stripe, and passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t email us anything you would not want stored.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page before they take effect.

October 21, 2026: the contact form now stores and emails your message to us, and the email address entered to download a protocol is now sent to us instead of staying only in your browser. Addresses entered before this change were never sent to us.
