Wolverine Blend (BPC-157 / TB-500)

BPC-157 + TB-500 · Wolverine

The classic recovery pairing — BPC-157 and TB-500 in one vial for soft-tissue repair.

Class

BPC-157 + Thymosin Beta-4 fragment blend

Half-life

Mixed (BPC-157 short; TB-500 several hours)

Evidence

Animal models

Animal models

Evidence comes primarily from rodent or other animal studies. Translation to humans is unproven.

Overview

The 'Wolverine' blend combines the two most popular recovery peptides: BPC-157 (angiogenesis and broad tissue protection) and TB-500 (cell migration and repair). The rationale is that they act through complementary mechanisms, so pairing them may support healing more completely than either alone.

It carries exactly the same evidence caveat as its components: the healing effects are demonstrated in animals, not in completed human trials. It is popular precisely because both compounds are individually popular, but the combination has no human evidence of its own, and both are WADA-prohibited.

How it works

  • BPC-157 promotes angiogenesis (VEGFR2) and cytoprotection in injured tissue.
  • TB-500 regulates actin to promote migration of repair cells into damage.
  • The two mechanisms are complementary — vascular ingrowth plus cellular repopulation.

What the research shows

Researched effects

  • Accelerated soft-tissue, tendon, and muscle healing in animal models (per component)
  • Anti-inflammatory effects
  • Popular for injury recovery despite the absence of human trial data

Limitations & what it won't do

  • No human trials of the blend or its components for musculoskeletal recovery.
  • Both components are WADA-prohibited.
  • Shared angiogenesis-related tumour caution.

Dosing protocols

These ranges reflect published trials and community protocols. They are reference information, not a prescription. Doses are per injection unless noted.

Combined recovery protocol (community)

250–500 mcg BPC + ~2 mg TB (per component)
FrequencyBPC daily; TB 2× weekly loading
RouteSubcutaneous injection
Cycle4–6 weeks for an acute injury

Dosing follows each component's schedule. See the BPC-157 and TB-500 profiles for detail.

Reconstitution & measuring your dose

Handling

Typical vial sizes
10 · 20 mg
Suggested BAC water
2 mL
Storage
Lyophilised powder refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protected from light.
After reconstitution
Reconstituted: approximately 30 days refrigerated.

Why 2 mL? A 10/10 mg blend vial (20 mg total) in 2 mL yields 10 mg/mL total. Because the two peptides are pre-mixed at a fixed ratio, you dose the combined solution — you cannot titrate them independently.

Side effects

Common

  • Injection-site irritation
  • Transient fatigue or head rush
  • Generally reported as well tolerated

Serious / rare

  • Unknown — no human safety data
  • Theoretical angiogenesis/tumour concern

Contraindications & interactions

Do not use if you have

  • Active cancer or current oncology treatment

Both components promote angiogenesis; contraindicated during active malignancy.

  • Pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive

    No pregnancy safety data.

Use caution if you have

  • Past cancer diagnosis (in remission)

Obtain oncology clearance given the angiogenic mechanism.

What to monitor

  • Injury response and function
  • New or unusual symptoms given the absence of human safety data
